The BC Bike Race is a multi-day mountain bike stage race that began its humble journey in 2007. To this day, it continues to maintain the highest overall singletrack content globally. The race takes place on the coast of British Columbia, the mecca of mountain biking. Day 1 Victoria Prologue.

Taking place on the epic Mount Benson trails, you can expect some of the fastest, flowiest, and longest stages that Vancouver Island has to offer. Get ready to break a sweat, show some love for women on bikes, and, most importantly, have an absolute blast.

The event will also be run as a Canada Cup, as well as a BC Cup, showcasing the top downhillers from across the country as they navigate the steep and technical terrain to race against the clock. With world-class trails, stunning scenery, and a vibrant mountain bike community, SilverStar is the perfect host for this exciting event, which promises to be a highlight of the mountain bike racing season.

BC Cup downhill racing is headed back to Vancouver Island once more over the weekend of August 24-25, 2024, for the annual Stevie Smith Memorial DH Race presented, here in the Mount Washington Bike Park. Since 2017, this race has been held in memory of the late-Canadian racing icon, Stevie Smith, who grew up riding here on Vancouver Island before showcasing his talents at World Cup venues around the globe and inspiring generations of athletes to come.

Vancouver Island's Premier Gravel Fondo located in Lake Cowichan, BC. The 7th edition of the event is slated for May 5th, 2024 and will showcase the amazing scenery, river valleys and gravel roads and trails that makes this area one of the best in BC for gravel riding. The 6th Annual Burnt Bridge Classic will expand into 3 stages of racing over two days, adding a new dimension of gravel racing that is one of a kind in Canada. While there is an overall competition over the three stages, it will be possible to do a single race, two stages, or the full three races.

Monuments of Cycling is excited to partner with standout Canadian endurance event producer Platinum Racing to deliver the second Belgian Waffle Ride in British Columbia to be held September 21 - 22, 2024 on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada.The Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR BC) will kick off the fall on the west coast of Canada in the Cowichan Valleyof Vancouver Island. Along with the Belgian Waffle, Wafer and Wanna Rides, the accompanying BWR Unroad Cycling Festival will feature music, a massive beer garden, a variety of food options, and all sorts of family fun that will exemplify the genuine Canadian hospitality in its most apologizing of ways.

Victoria’s ONLY mass participation off-road cycling event winds through flowy pine-needle trails and hairpin turns, over hills, roots and rocks, past curious donkeys and horses, and churns through chunky peanut butter mud and puddles. Oh, and maybe a few hike-a-bike sections to keep it legit.
