Meet the Cycle Therapy Crew

Owners Sandra and David Beggs

Cycle Therapy Bikes, now located beside the Duncan Garage Cafe at 360 Duncan Street in Duncan, BC (That's a lot of Duncan in one sentence!) is owned  and operated by David and Sandra Beggs.  The Cycle Therapy team is lead by Anthony Windsor who is knowledgable about pretty much every product we carry in the store and by Matt Grossnickle who came to us from Obsession Bikes in North Vancouver.  Anthony is an expert mechanic and leads the shop team.  We also have Steve Lund, a national level cycling coach, as a part of our great team.  In fact all of the staff at Cycle Therapy love riding bikes, working on bikes, talking about bikes, and sometimes you'll spot them just gazing at bicycles.  Check out our staff profiles at the bottom of our home page. We are proud of our team and enjoy working with them.  And...playing with them!

We moved to the Cowichan Valley from Haida Gwaii, where we enjoyed working and riding with the many cyclists there. Our move to the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island was deliberate and enthusiastically planned. We were happy to move to a community that already had so many keen cyclists, on both road bikes and mountain bikes. And we were also super happy to be living closer to family.

We opened a cycling store because bikes are our passion and we believe in the beneficial effects of bicycles on our environment and our lives. We see more and more people each year riding their bikes for fitness, for recreation and for commuting and are confident that the trend will continue.
